Alex Saab: Who Is The Man Linked To Why Twitter Allegedly Suspends Nigerian Influencers Account

According to social media users, Nigerian notable influencers were suspended on Twitter as a result of their involvement with one Columbian businessman, Alex Saab who is a criminal.

Twitter suspended many Nigerian influencers accounts because they were heavliy linked to the Columbian business man massive purge.

Alex Saab was arrested in Cape Verde last year June over money laundering. He was said to have been helping Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro in fraudulent activities and money laundering.

Although Twitter has not made any statement regarding the issue, but Financial Times revealed an intelligence report that Venezuela is using a fake Twitter account to update people so that Alex Saab would not be extradited to America.

According to BBC pidgin Alex Saab, 48 is a Columbian businessman accused by the American government of helping Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro carry out fraudulent operations especially money laundering.

Saab is a businessman who majors as a contractor and has also worked for the Venezuela government before.

He is a lawyer in Columbia and also possesses dual nationality with Venezuela and Antigua.

He was born in Barabquilla, Columbia but his parents are of Lebanese origin.
