American rapper songwriter and actor Curtis James Jackson, popularly known as 50 Cent recently won an award days when he barely moved to Houston.
The Hip-Hop mogul had announced himself as the brand new resident of Houston before he bagged an award from the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo as its Grand Champion in the International Wine Competition for his Le Chemin du Roi champagne.
On his Twitter page, he shajred his night experience during his attempt to purchase a bottle of wine during the competition, he lost out and confessed there are rich people in Texas.
50 Cent was seen taking a shot of drinks with a set of cabals, he said
“Man there are some people in Texas that got a lot of money”, he tweeted. ” I bid $175,000 for a bottle of wine and I still lost.”

Wow. That would pay off about half my doctorate student loans. But I’m sure the wine would have been delightful. 🤣
“When they told me I won, I almost fainted. I was really excited,” 50 told ABC13. “I am very proud of this.”
Cent also revaled details of his winning on his instagram official page, especially his brand new trophy – a large saddle with Reverse Grand Champion Best Of Show 2021 etched on the side near the RodeoHouston logo.
According to the HipHopDx, he said; “They told me everybody who’s somebody in Houston is at the @rodeohouston,” he wrote. “I won reserve grand champion best in the show. #lecheminduroi.”
