China develops mind-reading device that can detect when men watch Porn in an effort to ban adult video consumption

In an effort to outlaw the viewing of pornography altogether, China has created a mind-reading apparatus that can tell when males are viewing it.

Chinese researchers, according to NYPost, asserted they had created an official patent for a tool that could “read a man’s thoughts,” specifically identifying when he was watching an erotic film. According to reports, the device’s present prototype can identify the brain waves that are generated when a guy is exposed to porn.

The experiment involved 15 male college students who wore a gadget on their heads while watching porn on a computer screen. After processing a selection of images and videos, the mind reader will be able to identify anything questionable.

The device’s goal, according to Xu Jianjun, the researcher and director of Beijing Jiaotong University’s electrical engineering department, is “to detect bad information.” Additionally, he asserts that the results are 80% accurate and can filter out other signals that may otherwise cause brainwaves to be triggered by emotions emanating from non-porn-related information.

China has made it illegal to see pornography, thus the country’s authorities are taking considerable steps to curtail the use of the genre by putting in place “porn examiners,” or censorship organizations entrusted with monitoring the internet for objectionable content.
