Brodrick Omesan was assaulted by two police officers from the Delta state police command. Before being dismissed, Sgt Felix Ebikabowei and Ndubuisi Abazie were posted to ‘B’ Division Warri.
According to police spokesman DSP. Bright Edafe, the accused planned among themselves and indulged in unlawful activities near the estate roundabout Warri on August 12. On his tricycle, Brodrick Omesan, 36, was assaulted. The cops and the victim got into a fight during which they allegedly pushed and killed him, leaving him with serious head injuries.
The sufferer was taken to the hospital and is now being treated. Upon receiving the allegation, the Commissioner of Police ordered an inquiry to be conducted right away. The policemen were found guilty and were fired. They’ll be prosecuted.
