How I Became Popular in United States — Burna Boy Explain to CNN.

“No shortcuts,” Burna Boy claims as he reveals the strategy he used in gaining popularity in the United States of America.

In a video of him on African Voices, Burna Boy explains that he grew his popularity by performing at shows and venues native to the US.

He claims there is “no short cuts” to achieving fame in a foreign land. In his words, “the more it requires,” the more you give.

The Grammys award-winning singer who was recently involved in an online feud with Ghanaian Dancehall singer, spent the whole of 2021 on tour, performing before large crowds of fans abroad. He did the same after the release of the Outside album in 2018.

Therefore, his claims about how he gained popularity in the US cannot be disputed.

Burna Boy who in the video claims there is no venue in the US where he has not performed at, closed the year 2021 with the announcement of his reconciliation with Davido whom he has had a long term feud with. He then began 2022 with the acquisition of a new Lamborghini.
