Messi injured his left knee in PSG’s 2-1 win over Lyon on Sunday and will miss Wednesday’s match against Metz. An MRI examination on the Argentine’s left knee indicated bone damage, according to the Ligue 1 giants.
“After the hit to his left knee, Messi had an MRI this morning that confirmed the symptoms of a bone bruise; a fresh point will be made in 48 hours,” stated Mauricio Pochettino, the Spurs head coach.
In 48 hours, the former Barcelona star will be evaluated again.
