For the Lone Star match, the Napoli star has joined the rest of the Super Eagles team, while the Saudi-based star is still anticipated to arrive.

Victor Osimhen of Napoli has joined the rest of the Super Eagles team as they prepare for their 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifier against Liberia on Saturday.

In Sunday’s Serie A match, the Nigerian born was part of the Parthenopean team that drew 1-1 with Verona.

He has, however, joined Gernot Rohr’s squad in Tangier for the crucial match against Peter Butler’s side, and he was there for the three-time African champions’ gym session.

Enyimba goalkeeper John Noble, who was called in as a last-minute substitute for injured Cyprus-based star Francis Uzoho, is scheduled to play with returning attacker Odion Ighalo.

Ighalo, the top scorer at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations, has reversed his decision to retire from international football after a two-year absence and has been called up for the matches against Liberia and Cape Verde.
Coach Rohr will have to rely on Ahmed Musa, Moses Simon, Osimhen, Paul Onuachu, Chidera Ejuke, and Samuel Chukwueze if he fails to show up.
