Kaffy, a well-known Nigerian dancer, has spoken out about her broken marriage, childhood traumas, and other issues.
During an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, this single mother, whose true name is Kafayat Oluwatoyin Shafau, stated this.
Khafi said that her parents’ marriage was rife with domestic violence, which had a terrible affect on her when she was a child.
Her parents, she claims, battled with whatever they could find in the house, to the point where she began hiding knives and other deadly weapons from them.
Kaffy said she would not have married if she had known what she knew now about her unsuccessful marriage.
Three years before their marriage officially dissolved, the dancer stated that she stopped sleeping with her ex-husband, Joseph Ameh.
She went on to say that she made the mistake of expecting her spouse to make her happy when they married.
“It’s selfish to put your happiness on another person,” She stated as she reveals that going celibate was how she started healing from her husband’s betrayal and infidelity.
