President Buhari has lost his official driver, Saidu Afaka.
Presidential Spokesman, Garba Shehu revealed this in a statement according to Premium Times that the victim died in the State House Clinic, Abuja after a brief illness.
Recall that late Afaka capitalised on Buhari’s dementia to trick him to sign a fraudulent document to make millions of naira.
However, Afaka’s death has pulled traffic of suspicion since his demise came after which he was detained by the DSS
Mr Afaka emerge into spotlight in 2016 when he reportedly reinstated lost items during hajj in Saudi Arabia.
The items recovered were a bag containing $400, N60,370, 149 Saudi Riyals and a mobile phone belonging to one Adamu Umar, a Niger state pilgrim.
However, the late President Buhari’s driver, Saidu Afaka was a master warrant officer in the Nigerian Army until his exit.
