Leo DaSilva, a Nigerian reality star, has resorted to social media to suggest a strategy for the Nigerian film industry to better and flourish globally this year.
Nollywood, according to the reality show star, would never go worldwide until enormous talents are given a chance.
Leo went on to say that Nigerian music has gone worldwide because people with no connections can use social media to market their tunes.
In his own words:
You know why Nigerian music is now world music?
No more gate keeping.
People without connections can promote their songs from social media.
Until huge talents get their shot, Nollywood will not be global.
Every huge talent from Directors to script writers to actors need a shot.
