After attempting to demonstrate his playing skills with a lion while on duty, a zoo guide was left in terrible discomfort.
Tourists flocked to the St. Elizabeth zoo in Jamaica, and one of the zoo staffers who was showing them around decided to play with one of the lions in front of them.
Unfortunately, the attempts to entertain and excite the tourists failed miserably when the attendant’s finger became trapped in the ravenous lion’s mouth.
The Zoo attendant paid the ultimate price when his right ring finger was partially chewed off after poking his hand through the chain-link lion’s cage.
The incident happened at 4:22 p.m. on Friday, May 20, according to sources, and the horrific scene was captured on camera.
